A Message From The Pastors

We at Westwood Community Church are pleased that you are interested in our church. Whether you are here for a Sunday service, a church program, or a community event we welcome you. It is our desire that this church be open to all guests and that we be an asset to our community. The mission statement we have adopted as a church expresses our purpose: Planted and Growing in our Community to Love God and Meet People’s Needs.

We understand this to mean that our mission is two-fold. As we grow and mature in our community we want to be a church which worships and focuses on God and then we also want to reach out in love to those around us who have needs.

We have also chosen four C’s to further express our mission:

• Celebrate - our joyous expression of worship to God.
• Cultivate - our desire to invest in our relationship with God.
• Communicate - our sharing of God’s love to those who do not know Jesus Christ.
• Care - our coming together as a community to encourage, show concern and love for each other.
